We have enabled Multi-Factor Authentication on the VPN to improve our security. In order to connect, you will need to register your VPN account with Microsoft Authenticator using the steps below. Until this process is complete, you will not be able to connect to the VPN.
1. On your PRM laptop: open a web browser to https://remote1.pacresmortgage.com
2. Login with your PRM domain credentials (the same username and password you use to log into the VPN):
3. You will be presented with a QR code to scan in the next steps.
4. On your mobile phone: Open the Microsoft Authenticator app and unlock it if prompted.
5. Tap the + symbol in the top right corner
6. Tap “Work or School Account”
7. Tap “Scan a QR Code” and aim your phone camera at the QR code on your laptop screen until it scans and moves to the next step. If you are prompted to choose a name for your new account, type “PRM VPN” and tap Save.
8. Tap the new entry you just created in your Authenticator screen (it will be at the bottom of the list) and note the one-time password code.
9. On your PRM laptop: Enter the code from the previous step in the Code field and click Verify. You will be taken to a page like this:
10. This means that your registration is complete, and you can now close this web browser or tab.
11. From Now On: After signing in to the NetExtender on your PRM laptop, you will see this screen prompting for a mobile app password. Open your mobile phone, log in to the Microsoft Authenticator app, and tap the account you created today. You will be shown a one-time password: type it into the Password field on your laptop and click OK.
12. You should now be connected as normal to the VPN.
