There has been significant regards recently with safety and security of our meetings. Especially in light of the recent news of "Zoom Bombing"
With Zoombombing in particular, some effective security measures you could use in every RingCentral Meeting are as follows:
Set passwords for your meetings
Lock your meetings once all of your participants have joined
Use the waiting room feature to control participant access to your meetings
Set advanced sharing options to control who can share and when they can start sharing
Over the past several days, Zoom has announced several updates, such as defaulting to requiring passwords for every meeting. RC has been working to auto apply these updates to RingCentral Meetings as well.
If you have any questions please submit a ticket to the helpdesk or make a comment!
You can also see what RingCentral has to say at this article here. They have not experienced any other security concerns as Zoom has recently.
