Service is not responding!
To resolve this we will follow the following steps:
1) Search for and open “Services”
2) Look for “SonicWALL NetExtender Service”
3)Start the service by clicking ‘start’ on the left hand side.
4)You should now be able to connect.
If you still can't or get an error when trying to start the service, please snip any error messaging and contact the helpdesk by submitting a ticket!
Windows Remote Access Service Error
1.In most cases a reboot will fix this issue. If you reboot and still get the error, move onto the next steps.
2. Restarting RAS(Remote Access Service):
- Open the Task Manager
- Go to Services. If you don't see "Services" check to see if your Task Manager says "More Details" in the lower right of the window. If so click that and you should now see the "Services" tab.
- Find RAS, and right click. Select "go to details" and it will bring you the correct svchost.exe process. End the task; this will stop the service.
- Now, go back to services and start the RAS process that you shut down manually. You will now have the ability to control the service status, and the fix should persist through reboot.
If this don't fix the issue please let IT Support know by raising a ticket
