Sometimes your duties may include scheduling on behalf of someone or you want the invite coming from a Shared Mailbox (like a Team or Department Mailbox) in which case you will need some prerequisites before starting.

First off you will need access to the Calendar of the Person/Group you need to schedule as. In my example I am using the group "Wellness." If you are not sure if you have access, reach out to IT.

You also need to have the RC Meetings Outlook Add-in installed. If you do not have installed, please check out this article on how to install and use the add-in!

So once you have the Add-In and confirm you have Calendar Access you are ready to schedule on behalf of.

Click and put in focus the calendar you will be editing, if you use multiple calendars and collapse them like I do(1), then the calendar you need, will need to popped-out to edit correctly(2). Just click the arrow next to the calendar name to collapse and pop-out.

Click on the RC "Schedule a Meeting" icon and create your invite.

Once you send and invite your users it will pop-up on the correct calendar and it will send the invite as the user/group. You may sometimes see the invite still say your name(2) but with the user's or groups email address(1) and that is because you have send-on-behalf privileges and not send-as. But never fear, when users reply, it will be to the user or group that you scheduled for!

That's it! Contact IT if you have any questions or concerns!
