What is a Hot Desk?
A hot desk is a desk that can be used by different people at different times as needed. Hot desks are furnished with two monitors, a mouse and keyboard, and a laptop docking station. Currently, there are hot desks located at both the Corporate and Portland Branch Offices. To avoid conflicts, time at a hot desk must be reserved in advance.
Reserving Time at a Hot Desk

To reserve time at a hot desk, navigate to your office location’s booking page.

Select Reservation Duration
Under the heading ‘Select a service,’ click on the amount of time you would like to reserve a hot desk for.
Select Date and Time
Under the ‘Select time’ heading, click on the date you would like to reserve a hot desk, then click on the time you would like to start using your hot desk.
Select a Specific Hot Desk (Optional)
If you would prefer to choose a specific desk, click the ‘Select staff’ dropdown menu for a list of available desks. Please note that your desired time may not be available for a specific desk depending on reservation volume.

Enter Contact Information and Complete Booking
Under the heading ‘Add your details,’ enter your name and email address (if you are booking on behalf of someone else, enter their name and email address instead). The other information is optional. Once you have entered your contact info, click ‘Book’ to complete the booking. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly; a reservation email will be sent to you once you complete the booking.
Booking Confirmation
Once you have completed the above steps, you will receive an email confirming your booking. This email will contain the scheduling information as well as the name of the desk you have reserved. Please make a note of the desk’s specific name so you can be sure to find it when you go into the office.
